UX Design Strategies
Backed by Data, Not Opinions.
User research, information architecture, usability testing, and journey mapping. We design experiences based on how users actually behave — not assumptions.
End-to-end UX strategy.
User Research
Interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies
Usability Testing
5-user tests, task completion, SUS scoring
Journey Mapping
End-to-end experience maps with pain points
Information Architecture
Site maps, card sorting, navigation hierarchy
Analytics Review
Funnel analysis, heatmaps, session recordings
UX Audit
Heuristic eval + accessibility + competitor benchmark
“UX audit found 34 usability issues we didn't know existed. After fixing the top 12, task completion went from 62% to 94%. NPS jumped from 22 to 67.”
Research-backed UX that reduces friction.
UX strategy isn't guesswork. It's research → hypothesis → design → test → measure. Every product decision grounded in real user behavior, not stakeholder opinions.
Research + synthesis
Month 1User interviews (8-12), analytics audit, heatmap + session-replay review, journey mapping, pain-point inventory, opportunity ranking.
Design + prototype
Month 2Wireframes + user flows for top-priority opportunities, Figma hi-fi, interactive prototypes, usability test plan.
Test + refine
Month 3Moderated + unmoderated usability tests, iteration cycles, final design refinement, measurement plan for post-launch.
Launch + learn
Month 4+A/B tests for major changes, analytics + behavior monitoring, 30-day post-launch retrospective, next-cycle opportunity planning.
Full UX strategy program.
Research, design, testing, and measurement — all coordinated as one program.
User research
8-12 interviews, 5-8 moderated usability tests, analytics + session-replay deep dive, Jobs-to-be-Done framework applied to current behaviors.
Journey mapping + opportunities
Customer journey map with pain points, opportunities, and interventions. Ranked by impact × effort, stakeholder-reviewed, committed in writing.
Prototypes + design
Figma hi-fi designs for priority opportunities, interactive prototypes, copywriting, micro-interaction specs, accessibility audit.
Testing + measurement
Pre-launch usability validation, post-launch A/B testing, analytics dashboards, SUM score + task-success metrics, retrospective cadence.
Built for products with users to research.
UX strategy requires real users. For pre-PMF startups, focus on building first. For products with 1,000+ monthly users, UX strategy + research is disproportionately high leverage.
Product-Led SaaS
Self-serve trial + onboarding flows, feature discovery, activation metrics. Small UX wins compound into better retention + expansion.
High-Traffic Ecommerce
Checkout + PDP + search UX improvements. Every friction point at scale costs massive revenue; small CVR lifts are enormous in dollars.
Financial + Fintech Apps
Account opening, verification, transaction flows. Trust-critical UX where friction directly correlates with drop-offs and regulatory complaints.
Healthcare + Patient Apps
Patient portals, scheduling, telehealth. Users often anxious + non-expert; UX complexity becomes a health equity issue at scale.
Industry-standard tools, included.
Best-in-class design + research + handoff tooling — enterprise licenses bundled into every engagement.
UX strategy, answered honestly.
Do I need UX research if I already have analytics?
Analytics tell you what users do. Research tells you why. Together they're powerful; alone either is limited. Analytics + qualitative research (interviews, tests, open-ended feedback) form the complete UX truth.
How many users do I need to interview?
5-8 per segment uncovers 80% of usability issues. 10-12 per segment uncovers deeper patterns. Testing with 5 is better than not testing at all — and far cheaper than you think.
What's Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD)?
A framework for understanding the “job” a user is hiring your product to do. Shifts focus from demographics to outcomes. We use JTBD to prioritize features and redesign flows around user goals, not just analytics.
How long before I see results?
Usability-test-driven redesigns typically show measurable gains in 30-60 days. Bigger strategic shifts (onboarding overhauls, pricing changes) show results over 2-6 months.
Can you work with our existing PMs + designers?
Yes — most of our UX engagements partner with in-house teams. We bring research rigor, outside perspective, and UX strategy; your team owns day-to-day design + engineering.
